No accounts
You do not need an account to use this site. There is no sign-up, no login and no leaderboard, and we do not ask for your name or email address to play any game, read hints or check answers.
Game stats and settings stay in your browser
Your Canuckle results, streaks, guess distribution, game progress and settings (such as hard mode, dark theme and high contrast), along with your progress on Canoku and other puzzles, are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This information is not sent to us and we cannot see it.
Because it lives on your device, it does not follow you to another phone, computer or browser. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Doing so resets your stats and streaks.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, it sends us the name, email address, subject and message you type in. We use these only to read and reply to your message. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone. Please do not include anything in your message that you would not want us to have.
Advertising
The site is free because it shows ads. Ads are served by Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Adsterra and its partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure how ads perform. These can collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. That collection is handled by Adsterra under its own privacy policy, which you can find on the Adsterra website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you refuse third-party cookies only. The games on this site still work if you do.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To keep the site fast and protect it from abuse and attacks, Cloudflare processes technical information about each visit, including your IP address, and may set cookies needed for security. This is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Children
The games on this site are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, get in touch and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as the official Canuckle game. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
