Canuckle Plus

Canuckle Plus is the longer weekly puzzle that sits beside the daily game. Instead of five letters, the hidden word has six or seven, and it still has a Canadian twist. A new Plus word arrives every Monday and stays the same all week, so you can come back to it on your coffee break.

How Canuckle Plus works

The rules match the daily game. Type a real word that fills the row, press Enter, and the tiles change colour. Red means the letter is in the right spot. Yellow means the letter is in the word but somewhere else. Grey means it is not in the word at all. You get six tries, and the board shows how many letters this week's word has before you start.

Longer words change the strategy. A good opener for a seven letter grid covers three vowels and common endings such as -ER, -ED or -ING. After that, spend your second row testing the letters you have not tried yet, even if that guess cannot be the answer.

Plus, daily or unlimited?

Each Canuckle game has its own job. The daily Canuckle is a five letter word that changes every day, and everyone plays the same one. Unlimited Canuckle lets you play five letter rounds back to back for practice. Canuckle Plus is the weekly stretch goal with six or seven letters. If you only have time for one, start with today's daily word, then try Plus on the weekend.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Canuckle Plus word change?

A new word starts each Monday at midnight in your own time zone and runs until Sunday night. The countdown under the board shows how long is left.

Is Canuckle Plus harder than the daily game?

Usually, yes. More letters means more possible words, and the answers lean toward Canadian places, food and slang. The six guesses you get are the same as the daily game.

Do my stats carry over?

Plus keeps its own streak and win record on your device, separate from the daily game, so a tough week will not break your daily streak.
